2025年6月14日是我国第九个文化和自然遗产日。截至目前，我国的世界遗产共59处，其中文化遗产40处、自然遗产15处、文化与自然双遗产4处，是全球入选《世界遗产名录》最多的国家之一，位列世界第二。中华文明发轫于夏商，兴盛于汉唐，成熟于宋元明清，复兴于当下，是5000余年不曾中断的人类文明，而世界遗产恰恰是对博大精深中华文明最生动、最完美的实物注释。
中国旅游出版社秉持着弘扬中华优秀传统文化，推动文化自信与民族认同，促进世界文明交流互鉴，助力构建人类命运共同体的使命，出版发行了大型精装画册《中国世界遗产》（以下简称画册）。画册以地域为经、时间为纬，着力将中国的珍稀世界遗产通过以图为主、图文结合的形式详细展示于画册中。在设计上，大量使用具有中国传统元素的纹样和色彩，将世界遗产与中国美学相结合，以典雅大气的中国之美为读者带来视觉享受。

画册出版后得到了多方认可。2023年11月，画册入选中央宣传部公布的2023年主题出版重点出版物选题，并获得国家出版基金的支持；2024年经意大利旅游出版集团（Touring Servizi）引进版权，以意英双语的形式与意大利读者见面，实现“主题出版物”“走出去”；2025年4 月，在第43届古巴国际旅游展中，中国旅游出版社依托画册内容，承办的“中国世界遗产”图片展，成为本届旅游展中重要的文化展示项目之一。
画册从入选国家级重点选题，到跨越山海在意大利绽放文化光彩，再到于古巴国际舞台的新形象展示，其出版与传播实践，让我们看到了文化的力量，也看到了中国世界遗产在促进跨文化传播与理解中的重要作用。
中国旅游出版社将继续践行文化传承的时代命题，以更多优质的文化作品为桥梁，让世界更加深入地了解中国，看见中国的瑰宝，让文明在交流中打破边界，让五千年的华夏智慧真正成为滋养人类命运共同体的精神养分。
