2025年7月14-18日，全球化工领域历史悠久、学术领先的盛会——2025世界化学工程大会暨第21届亚太化工联盟大会(WCCE 12 & APCChE 2025)将首次在中国召开。
大会以“迎接全球挑战的化学工程范式变革”为主题，将紧跟全球科技新领域发展脉搏，针对化工发展面临的颠覆性挑战，围绕化工与未来人才教育、化工与基础产业再造、化工与战略新兴产业、未来化工与智慧创新四个挑战性课题，展开30余个创新主题、600余场发人深省的前沿报告与丰富多彩的交流研讨。

全球正处于一场新的源于生物技术的工业革命，生物化工和生物制造以生物为对象或手段，以工业生物技术为核心，利用酶、微生物细胞等生物催化剂，运用工程化思维，进行人类所需产品的加工、生产以及相关过程的设计、优化与控制，推动相关产业的升级和发展，创造绿色生物制造等新的经济增长点。本分会场积极响应大会主题“迎接全球挑战的化学工程范式变革”，聚焦生物炼制、蛋白质工程、过程强化等先进技术，旨在为全球绿色生物制造及相关领域的专家、学者提供一个交流平台，共同推进生物化工与生物制造产业在可再生生物质利用、低碳转型升级等领域的创新发展。

由北京化工大学承办的大会第11分会场将于2025年7月15日在北京国家会议中心召开。会场将围绕“生物化工与生物制造”主题开展深入研讨。该分会场主席由北京化工大学副校长苏海佳教授，德国亚琛工业大学生物技术研究所所长Ulrich Schwaneberg教授，九州大学生物过程课题组长Noriho Kamiya教授共同担任。目前已邀请日本大阪大学Takeshi Omasa教授，瑞典乌普萨拉大学李晋萍教授，爱丁堡大学范先锋教授等多位国内外知名院士专家做主旨报告。
